Nutrition and Nourishment

Why do we need nutrition and how it relates to nourishment?

Nutrition and nourishment is an essential activity we need order to be in good health.

Where does nutrition start from?

Nutrition starts in the mouth, but unfortunately nourishment does not end in only the foods we eat.
Nourishment also relates to what our eyes see, what we smell, what we hear and what we touch.
We can choose what foods to eat, but most of the time we cannot choose what our senses receive. These signals received by our senses will eventually nourish our mind.
Bad nutrition can affect us in a short or long term. We can get stomachache, diarrhea, etc. and after a few days the body heals itself.
The nourishment that we receive from our senses goes straight to our mind. Once this information is received it stays in the mind and it is very difficult to get it out, and in times this information will pop up again.
Therefore, don’t think about nutrition as the only nourishment the body needs, but rather think that nutrition is what the body and soul needs on the daily basis.

Is our mind related to our gut nourishment?

Mind issues are a serious matter that should not be left untreated for too long, neither its importance be diminished since the mind and the body is one organism and must kept healthy as individually and together.
Unhealthy mind can lead to improper metabolism, cravings unhealthy foods, cravings bad habits, increase or sudden weight changes and more.
If you experience skin issues, most likely that the symptoms are related to a gut malfunctioning that can be linked to the mind not functioning properly.
